Saba Birman 2025 – Successes, progress and building blocks for the future (Part 1)

A brief summary of our plans and progress

2025 blog Part 1.

This article is the concluding part of my article “Plans for 2025 at Saba Birman Kennel“. Then I wrote about the direction we were heading in – and now, looking back, we are 100% on track to deliver our plans in 2025. Not “for free”, not easily, but with the same total dedication with which we have been building the Saba Birman world for 13 years. Despite the unfavourable economic climate, we have not compromised on quality, the quality of life of our animals, or the Saba World “happiness guarantee”. Whoever chooses a Saba Birman cat in 2025 will continue to receive the highest possible standard of care and customer attention.

Three young females – the building blocks of the future: Wanda, Una and Zoa

At the end of 2024, three young females were kept at Saba Birman Kennel:
Saba Wanda, Saba Una and Saba Zoa.

All three are excellent representatives of the Burmese Holy Templars (Birman) lineage, which carries classical values. It was a conscious decision: we saw 2025 as the start of a new era – a more stable bloodline, a stronger genetic base and an even higher level of breeding.

These girls are no longer “promises” but proven pillars of the new generation of the Saba bloodline.

Yochi – the new cat who brought a new quality

After long, thoughtful preparations, our young tomcat Yochi arrived from the South of France.
His well-balanced nature, his refined, gentlemanly “Birman personality” and his strong, pure bloodline matched the energy of the Saba world from the very first moment.

Since then:

  • Yochi, meanwhile, has grown into a huge, imposing tomcat of 1.5 years,
  • while retaining the kind, gentle nature we fell in love with on arrival,
  • several litters were born from her and our young females,
  • we could still give these apples to new families in 2025 and have fabulous Birman kittens for Christmas.

Yochi is not only a strong bloodline on paper, but also a visible and noticeable improvement in the quality of the puppies.

2025 – the year of exhibitions for Saba Birmans

The Saba Birman Kennel has never positioned itself with self-aggrandising, self-aggrandising adjectives.
The results speak for us. And these results were still outstanding in 2025.

Aggregated official addresses (until end 2025)

  • 52 Hungarian Championship title
  • 48 International Championship titles
  • 19 International Grand Prix titles
  • 14 European Championship titles
  • 9 European Grand Champion title
  • 6 World Championship titles

Key exhibition successes of 2025

True to our promise made in early 2025, Wanda, Una, Zoa and Yochi have competed at national and international shows, World Fairs and Cat Olympics.

Females of the youngest Saba generation and our young male:

  • Saba Wanda – International Champion
  • Saba Una – International Champion
  • Saba Zoa – International Champion
  • Yochi – European Champion

In addition to these:

  • special prizes for judges,
  • Best of Breed,
  • Best of Opposite Sex,
  • and 3× Best in Show titles,

they also achieved outstanding results at the WCF World Show and the WCF Cat Olympics.

Variety shows – when we could meet in person

In 2025, we were not just a “competitor”:

  • In February 2025, we held a Birman species show on the big stage at the Lurdy House,
  • And in November 2025, we were invited by Royal Canin to present the Burmese Holy Church Cat at the Royal Canin stand.

With a grateful heart I thank all those who travelled hundreds of kilometres just to meet us and the Saba Birman cats in person.

After the show results, allow me to take a moment to give you an insight into the wonderful kittens that are now waiting for new loving homes.

New website and social presence – the online “home” of the Saba world

In 2025, www.birman.hu is on a completely new footing:

  • modern, clean design,
  • fast, mobile-friendly system,
  • clear, convenient navigation,
  • the website is still available in 5 languages, catering for foreign visitors and buyers.

In addition to the renewal of the website:

  • we redesigned the entire social media structure,
  • fine-tuned the visual and content presentation,
  • we have further improved the quality of customer relations.

Good news for the end of the year: there are still Saba Birman kittens available

There are still Saba Birman kittens available at the end of 2025,
who are ready to:

  • with their love wrapped in their silk furs,
  • with their light and presence
  • make life complete for families looking for a quality Birman kitten.

You can always find the latest information on kittens that are currently available for reservation and pre-order on our website.
