Yoda is the first male cat in our breeding carrier; although not as curious, he has a big heart, and is a real nice gentleman cat. He is sensitive, gentle and caring towards his female companions and kittens.
A reserved, rather one-man cat with strangers, the hustle and bustle of exhibitions was not one of his favourite pastimes due to his reserved nature. But even so, he was elegant and calm in front of the judges.
On 19 September 2015, he was awarded the title of World Champion at the WFC World Show in Budapest.
Since then, Yoda has retired, living the happy life of a single pet cat – and his early retirement has made his bloodline even more valuable.
Azzurro came to us straight from Italy, and with his mesmerising blue eyes and elegant appearance, he swept us off our feet from the first moment we saw him. With Italian and Dutch bloodlines, he also boasts Australian grandparents, which added to his breeding value.
He is a real cuddly kitty, who curls up next to you at night to sleep, and at shows he has returned the judges’ scrutiny with a sweet purr. A proud member of our family, now retired after winning the World Champion title.
Doroty is a lovely, open-hearted kitty. She tries to find a common voice with everyone, she is not a one-man cat, but a real family favourite. Very playful and curious, she wants to know everything that is going on around her. She is a very affectionate and loving cat.
Doroty is now retired, which makes her bloodline even more valuable. She gave birth to Hungarian Champion Betti Sábacat and Julia Sábacat.
Naomi is one of the nicest members of the family, who came to us straight from Austria. She has an old, clean bloodline and excellent showmanship. Saba Hilda was her and Yoda’s kitten, who became the founding Birman cat of the breed in Mexico!
her A strong personality, a balanced individual who always finds a way to express his immense love. She lives her life as an only cat with a loving owner.
Heléna’s breeder worked as a cat therapist, so we had no doubt that she would grow up to be a well-balanced kitten. She has the gentle soul of a soft fur coat, the cuddly, delicate princess traits and an elegant companion to brighten up your everyday life.
With a Spanish-Italian father and an Austro-German mother, she carries both major bloodlines and is the mother of International Champion Saba Desdemona.
Heléna has put her years as a breeder and show cat behind her, spending her days as an only, favourite cat with her loving family.
Desdemona is our own bred cat, her father is the World Champion Yoda and her mother is the International Champion Helena.
Desdemona is the unrivalled embodiment of the Birman’s core qualities. The elegant appearance, Roman nose, rounded ears and refined radiance are in perfect harmony.
Gentle, sweet kitty who loves to play and shower her family with love. Desdemona is still with us today. She is our sleeping companion, our fluffy, soft sleeping teddy bear.
Pippa’s mother is International Champion Nefertiti v Blüttengarten Naomi and her father is World Champion Azzurro dei Baffi Buffi.
Her gaze radiates a charming kindness and softness. She is extremely energetic, jumping, running and playing with her companions. She is a sweet, sensitive kitten, a real princess with star quality allure.
When she became a mother, she had a tiger instinct to protect her cubs, and feared for her only son more than anything else in the world – to avoid undue stress, Pippa is now retired and lives alone with her family as a neutered kitten.
Betti Sábacat is our own bred kitten, sired by the world champion Azzurro dei Baffi Buffi and mothered by Blue Sky Doroty. Betti is a strong character, headstrong and self-confident kitten who is always up for fun and games – and even brave enough to face the vacuum cleaner! Being held is not her favourite activity, but chasing each other is closer to her heart.
Betti is the faithful favorite kitten of our daughter, who already at the age of 9 (now 14!) expressed the following loving thoughts about her: “Betti is a good-natured Birman cat who always follows you. She never forgets her name. She is always on the lookout for others. She loves to eat and drink. She never scratches anyone. She is a lovely cat. When I play, she purrs at my feet. She is an angel in disguise. I can play with her, when I go to bed she licks me and goes to my feet.” Betti retired from breeding in December 2024. Anna, of course, kept him too. She said, “You know, Mum, Betti is such a special cat that other people wouldn’t understand her. Is it possible to say no to that?” So, together with Julia, Betti stayed with us. 🙂
Julia’s parents are the world champion male Azzurro dei Baffi Buffi and Blue Sky Doroty, who is our first Birman cat. Julia’s characterful appearance is made all the more special by her tabby features, which are very rare in chocolate shades.
An active, attentive and playful kitten with endless curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. She loves to have fun with children and puppies, yet she is balanced and incredibly calm. She rewards people with unconditional trust and is brave at vet checks. She is a cuddly, affection-hungry individual who is eager for more petting.
And when she was 9 years old, her beloved owner described our cat Julia with these heartwarming words: ‘Julia loves being around people. She is very curious and interested in everything. She likes to taste everything. She is a very playful and clever cat. She loves to be petted and played with. She is very affectionate and loves to play and loves to play with me. When we eat at the table, he likes to jump up next to me and is not afraid to be petted while we eat. Even after saying it for the umpteenth time, she doesn’t worry about being scared or hung up on. He loves to be underfoot and knows we will pet him even when we are walking. The difference between Betti (who is my cat) and her is that Betti is more playful and Julia is more affectionate.” Julia retired from breeding in December 2024. From then on, his only job was to surround my daughter Anna with his love. 🙂 They study and sleep together, much to Julia’s delight. To my delight, learning is not so hateful and difficult for Anna anymore. 🙂
